I’ve changed the blog url to http://www.liquidborn.co.uk/blog/ in preparation for the redesign.

This will make things easier in the long-run, and is something I should have done in the first place. No hiccups – it went suprisingly smoothly…

I anticipated i’d make more entries than this when I last re-designed my site. Bearing this in mind, soon i’ll be yet again be changing the content – focussing more on using it as a giant Ad for me, and keeping the blog as exactly that – a blog.

Unsure as to when the re-launch will happen, but when it does – you’ll know

Instead of a boring text title, i’ve made a nifty little logo image up above

I’m pretty proud about this – I made a few header images (3, so far) for the website of the Half-Life 2: Deathmatch clan i’m in. See the latest, and best (so far) in action here.

On a side-note – if anybody would like a header image made, or anything else (most things considered) – contact me. I’m looking to build a portfolio. See my deviantArt (in the Links sidebar) for any creative-type updates!

With VNV Nations highly anticipated “Of Faith, Power, and Glory” album released tomorrow, Amazon.com now have previews of each track up on the product page. This is not just the vnvnation.de preview (see below) re-hashed – oh no – these are bits we haven’t heard before.

My verdict:

1. Pro Victoria: It’s coming, the drums say so…
2. Sentinel: Hmm, this bit sounds weak – seems as if the clip in the vnvnation.de leak was the best bit… Lets hope it works as a full song
3. Tomorrow Never Comes: We know this one.
4. The Great Divide: Liking this, liking this quite a bit
5. Ghost: I guess this’ll have to be heard in full to decide.
6. Art Of Conflict: Ohhhh yes
7. Defiant: Upbeat – in MY VNV? …I like the sound of this one, and isn’t it in tribute to Sophie Lancaster or something?
8. Verum Aeternus: Ooh, so there are more words than “one day” then?
9. From My Hands: Again, I guess this’ll have to be heard in full to decide.
10. Where There Is Light: There’s an air of Perpetual in this for me. Sort of a “look to the future” attitude.

So, 5 days until “Of Faith, Power, and Glory” is released in Europe. What are your thoughts on what you’ve heard so far? Any expectations? I, for one, connot wait to hear it in it’s entirety
